Rubber Pole Base

This pole base makes installing your boat cover quick and easy. With the ability to swivel and hold the pole in place, you no longer have to climb in and out of your boat as you install your cover. The thermoplastic rubber gives the pad a firm grip, it's large base protects your flooring from damage caused by standard crutch tips and helps disperse the poles weight. Unlike our Pole Base w/support pole, this unique 4 piece design with locking wing nut ensures that this base will never end up at the bottom of lake. *Guaranteed to fit on Vico Marine's support poles only.

Support Pole Tip Choices 

Simple plastic ABS tip for protecting the top of your support pole for gouges or marring. ​Center has a thread hole to install snap tip if needed.

Snap Tip

ABS plastic tip used with snap covers. Snap is made from ridged stainless steel to avoid corrosion to bending under normal wear and tear.

Swedge Tip

Our telescoping cam lock support poles are available in either have heavy duty polycarbonate or die cast aluminum collars.  Both carry stainless steel components, allowing them to hold a staggering 120 - 160 lbs; that is over twice the weight of standard thumbscrew mooring poles. The aluminum tubing is light weight, anodized, and heat treated to make sure it can withstand any climate. Our poles come in a variety of sizes and tip options, including snap, swedge, plug, & spline.To protect your boats flooring from scuffs or marring, we use a synthetic TPE rubber crutch tip. Make sure to check out some of our Swivel Pole Bases for easier installation and use on upholstery.
